Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Cliently processes, where app data is stored, how it is used, and the choices available to users.

Last updated: July 30, 2026

1. Overview

Cliently is a customer relationship management application intended for freelancers, consultants, sales professionals, and small businesses. The app helps users organize client information, deals, tasks, and follow-up activities.

Core privacy approach: Cliently is designed as an offline-first application. Core CRM records are stored locally on the user’s device unless a future feature clearly states that information will be transmitted or synchronized.

2. Information handled by the app

Information entered by the user

Depending on how the app is used, users may enter business-related information such as:

  • Client names and company names.
  • Phone numbers and email addresses.
  • Deal titles, estimated values, stages, and expected closing dates.
  • Tasks, reminders, priorities, due dates, and completion status.
  • Notes about clients, deals, meetings, or follow-up activity.
  • Theme and application preferences.

The user decides what information to enter. Cliently does not require users to enter highly sensitive personal information, and users should avoid storing data that is unnecessary for their business workflow.

Technical information

The current offline-first version is not designed to create a Cliently account or operate a remote customer database. The app may still rely on normal operating-system functions required to run, such as local storage and application settings. If analytics, crash reporting, cloud synchronization, advertising, or account services are introduced later, this policy will be updated before or when those features become active.

3. How information is used

Information entered into Cliently is used to provide the app’s core functions, including:

  • Displaying and editing client records.
  • Connecting deals and tasks to clients.
  • Calculating dashboard totals and status summaries.
  • Showing overdue tasks and upcoming follow-ups.
  • Saving user interface preferences, such as theme selection.
  • Restoring locally saved app data when the user opens the application again.

Cliently does not use locally stored CRM content for targeted advertising or profiling.

4. Local storage and device responsibility

Core information is stored locally on the device using application storage. This means the information generally remains on the device rather than being transmitted to a Cliently server.

Because local data is tied to the device and app installation, users are responsible for device security and for maintaining any backups they consider necessary. Removing the app, clearing its storage, resetting the device, or losing access to the device may permanently remove local records.

Where the operating system includes device backup or migration features, those features are controlled by the device platform and user settings, not directly by Cliently.

5. Device permissions

Cliently aims to request only permissions that are necessary for active features. The initial app experience may not require sensitive permissions. If a future feature requests access to contacts, notifications, files, camera, or another protected capability, the app should explain the purpose and rely on the operating system’s permission controls.

Users can review or revoke permissions through their device settings. Disabling a permission may prevent the related feature from working, but unrelated parts of the app should continue to function where possible.

6. Information sharing, sale, and advertising

Cliently does not sell personal information. The offline-first version does not intentionally transmit CRM records to advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.

Information may be disclosed only when required by applicable law, legal process, or a valid government request, and only to the extent that the developer actually possesses the information. Because core records are stored locally, the developer may not have access to them.

7. Data retention and deletion

Locally stored records remain on the device until the user edits or deletes them, clears the app’s data, or uninstalls the application. Cliently may include a settings option that allows the user to remove all locally stored data. This action may be irreversible.

Support emails sent to mshakiralvi297@gmail.com may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to answer the request, resolve technical issues, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations.

8. Security

Reasonable care is taken to design the app in a way that limits unnecessary data collection. However, no device, storage system, or software application can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Users should protect their device with a password, PIN, biometric lock, or another appropriate security method. Users should also avoid sharing devices that contain confidential client information and should comply with any privacy or confidentiality duties owed to their own clients.

9. Children’s privacy

Cliently is intended as a business productivity tool and is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law to consent to data processing. The app does not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children.

If you believe a child has provided personal information through a support communication, contact us so the matter can be reviewed.

10. International users

Users may access Cliently from different countries. Local privacy laws may provide additional rights or obligations. Because the core app stores records locally, users are responsible for ensuring that their use of client data complies with the laws, contracts, and professional duties that apply to them.

11. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when the app changes, when new features are introduced, or when legal requirements evolve. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

Material changes that affect how information is handled should be described clearly in the app, on this website, or through another reasonable notice.

12. Contact

Include enough detail for the request to be understood, but do not send unnecessary confidential client data.
