Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Privo handles information when you use the Privo mobile application.

The current core version of Privo is designed as an offline-first application. Decisions and related workspace information are stored locally on your device.

Privo may locally store decision titles and notes, options, criteria and importance weights, option scores, pros and cons, favorite status, archive status, final choices, and decision history.

This information is used to create and edit decision workspaces, calculate weighted comparisons, display leading options, support search and favorites, archive decisions, and retain completed choices.

The current core Privo experience does not require an account, username, password, phone number, or email address.

Weighted results are calculated from the criteria weights and option scores you enter. These calculations are part of the local decision workspace experience.

Search operates on locally stored decision titles, notes, option names, and criteria.

Favorite status is stored locally so Privo can identify decisions you have marked as important.

When you make a final choice, Privo may retain that decision and selected option in local history until you reopen or delete the decision or remove application data.

Archive status is stored locally so older decisions can be separated from active workspaces.

Decision titles, notes, criteria, options, pros, and cons are content entered by you. In the current core implementation, this content is stored locally.

The current core version does not require microphone access.

The current core version does not require camera or photo-library access.

The current core version does not require access to your contacts.

The current core version does not require precise or approximate device location.

The current core implementation does not require third-party advertising, behavioral tracking, or analytics SDKs. This policy should be updated before such services are introduced.

Privo does not sell or rent the locally stored decision information used by the current core application. The current core implementation does not intentionally transmit your decision workspace to unrelated third parties.

Future versions may introduce cloud sync, authentication, analytics, crash reporting, advertising, AI services, or other external SDKs. If that happens, this policy should be reviewed and updated before publication.

Locally stored data generally remains on your device until you delete decisions, delete all local data through supported controls, clear application storage, reset the device, or uninstall Privo.

Privo provides controls for deleting individual decisions and for deleting all locally stored application data. Device-level clearing or uninstalling may also remove local data.

Operating-system or device backup services may independently back up or restore application data. Those services are controlled by their respective providers and device settings.

Reasonable application-design practices are used for locally stored information, but no device, application, or storage method can guarantee absolute security.

Privo is a general decision-support utility. The current core experience does not knowingly require children to provide personal contact information or create an online account.

Privo organizes information supplied by the user and calculates comparisons from user-entered scores and weights. It does not guarantee that a suggested or leading option is the best outcome for any particular situation.

We may revise this Privacy Policy when Privo changes, new features are introduced, or legal requirements change. The latest version should be published on this page.
