Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 12, 2026. This page explains how Musevia handles information in its offline-first personal museum experience.
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Musevia handles information when you use the Musevia mobile application. Musevia is designed as a personal, museum-inspired collection experience.
2. Information You Add
Musevia may store information that you choose to enter, including exhibit titles, descriptions, exhibit categories, favorites, gallery assignments, and other collection details.
3. Local Storage
The core version of Musevia is designed to store exhibits, gallery rooms, favorites, and application preferences locally on your device. Core use does not require cloud storage.
4. Accounts
No account is required for the core Musevia experience. The core version does not require you to provide a username, password, phone number, or profile.
5. How Information Is Used
Information you add is used to display and organize your personal museum, restore your gallery arrangement, identify favorite exhibits, and preserve application preferences between sessions.
6. Photos and Media
The current core implementation does not require photo or media access. If a future version allows you to attach images or media to exhibits, this policy should be updated to describe how those files and permissions are handled.
7. Device Permissions
Musevia should request only permissions needed by the installed version. You can review or revoke application permissions through your device settings.
8. Data Sharing and Sale
Musevia does not sell or rent the personal collection information stored by the core application. Locally stored exhibit information is not intentionally shared with unrelated third parties by the core experience.
9. Analytics and Advertising
The current core implementation does not require third-party advertising or analytics services. If these services are introduced in a future production version, this policy should be revised before release.
10. Third-Party Services
If future versions include external services, links, cloud features, or third-party SDKs, those services may operate under their own privacy policies and terms.
11. Data Retention
Locally stored information generally remains on your device until you delete individual content, clear the application's storage, reset the application, or uninstall Musevia.
12. Deleting Your Information
You can delete exhibits through application features where available. Clearing Musevia's application storage or uninstalling the app can also remove locally stored application data.
13. Security
Reasonable design and technical practices are used to protect locally stored application information. No device, application, or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
14. Children's Privacy
Musevia is a general personal-collection application. The core experience does not knowingly require children to submit personal contact information or create an online account.
15. Sensitive Information
Musevia is not intended as a secure vault for passwords, financial credentials, government identifiers, medical records, or other highly sensitive information. Avoid entering information that requires specialized secure storage.
16. International Users
Because core Musevia information is stored locally, your device and operating system play an important role in how that information is protected and managed.
17. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Musevia evolves, legal requirements change, or new services are introduced. The latest version should be published on this page.
