1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Focusio handles information when you use the Focusio mobile application and related support pages.
2. Core Offline Experience
Focusio is designed so that its core features can work without creating an account. Study subjects, tasks, timer preferences, sessions, and progress may be stored locally on your device.
3. Information You Provide
Information you enter may include subject names, task titles, notes, priorities, due dates, study durations, and other study-planning details.
4. Personal Information
The core app does not require you to provide your legal name, postal address, phone number, or account credentials.
5. Local Device Storage
Focusio may use device storage mechanisms, including local preferences, to retain your app settings and study data between sessions.
6. Analytics
The current core implementation does not intentionally require third-party analytics for basic use. If analytics are added in a future version, this policy should be updated accordingly.
7. Advertising
The current core implementation does not state that it uses third-party advertising. If ads are introduced, the privacy policy and store disclosures should be updated.
8. Device Permissions
Focusio should request only permissions needed for features available in the installed version. You can review and manage permissions through your device settings.
9. How Information Is Used
Locally stored information is used to provide subjects, study tasks, timer sessions, statistics, streak calculations, and user preferences.
10. Information Sharing
Focusio does not sell or rent personal information. Core locally stored study data is not intentionally shared with unrelated third parties.
11. Data Retention
Data stored locally remains on your device until you delete it, clear application storage, use an in-app reset option, or uninstall the app.
12. Data Deletion
You can remove locally stored Focusio data by using Clear All Data in Settings, clearing the app's storage in device settings, or uninstalling the app.
13. Security
Reasonable design practices are used to protect app data. However, no device, storage method, or software system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
14. Children's Privacy
Focusio is intended as a general study tool and does not intentionally require children to provide personal information for its core features. Parents or guardians should supervise use where appropriate.
15. Third-Party Services
Future versions may link to or integrate with third-party services. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
16. International Users
Privacy rights may differ depending on your country or region. Applicable local laws may provide additional rights.
17. Your Rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal information. For local app data, these actions can usually be performed directly on your device.
