Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 2, 2026. This page describes Trevora's privacy practices.
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Trevora handles information when you use the Trevora application and related support pages.
2. Offline-First Design
Trevora is designed so its core features can work without creating an account. Trip plans, itineraries, expenses, packing lists, and preferences may be stored locally on your device.
3. Information You Enter
You may enter trip names, destinations, travel dates, traveler counts, budgets, expenses, packing items, activity details, locations, and personal notes.
4. Personal Information
Trevora's core experience does not require your legal name, phone number, postal address, or account credentials.
5. Local Device Storage
Trevora may use local device storage mechanisms to retain trip data and settings between app sessions.
6. Permissions
The app should request only permissions needed by the installed version. You can review and manage permissions in your device settings.
7. Analytics
The current core implementation does not require third-party analytics for basic functionality. If analytics are added later, this policy and store disclosures should be updated.
8. Advertising
The current core implementation does not state that it uses third-party advertising. If advertising is introduced, this page should be updated.
9. How Data Is Used
Locally stored data is used to display your trips, calculate budgets, organize itineraries, track packing progress, and remember preferences.
10. Data Sharing
Trevora does not sell or rent personal information. Core locally stored travel-planning data is not intentionally shared with unrelated third parties.
11. Data Retention
Local information remains on your device until you delete it, clear app storage, use the in-app reset option, or uninstall the app.
12. Data Deletion
You can remove Trevora data by using Clear All Data in Settings, clearing application storage through device settings, or uninstalling the app.
13. Security
Reasonable design practices are used to protect app information, but no device or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
14. Travel Sensitivity
Travel plans may reveal locations, schedules, or personal routines. Protect access to your device and avoid entering highly sensitive information you do not need in the app.
15. Children's Privacy
Trevora is a general travel-planning tool and does not intentionally require children to provide personal information for core features.
16. Third-Party Services
Future versions may link to or integrate with third-party services. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies.
17. International Users
Privacy rights may differ by country or region. Applicable law may provide additional rights.
18. Your Rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, or restriction. For local app data, these actions can usually be performed directly on your device.
19. Policy Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the application, legal requirements, or third-party services change.
