PENDRO PRIVACY

Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 15, 2026

Summary: PENDRO is designed as an offline-first pending work tracker. The current core version does not require a user account, login, Firebase, cloud sync, advertising, behavioral analytics, or a remote backend.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how PENDRO, package com.pendro.pending, handles information when you use the mobile application. PENDRO is designed to help users track work items that are waiting for a reply, approval, document, payment, signature, review, or other follow-up.

2. Scope of this Policy

This Policy applies to the current core version of the PENDRO mobile application and these informational pages. If future versions introduce materially different features or data practices, this Policy should be reviewed and updated before release.

3. Information You Enter

Depending on how you use the app, you may enter pending item titles, people or contact names, client names, company names, item types, status values, priority levels, start dates, deadlines, notes, and follow-up log entries.

4. Pending Item Records

PENDRO lets you save records for items waiting on action. These records help you remember what is pending, who or which company is involved, what type of response is needed, and whether the item is overdue or closed.

5. People, Clients, and Companies

Names of people, clients, contacts, or companies are typed manually by you. The current core version does not require importing names from your device contacts.

6. Item Types

PENDRO may let you classify an item as an approval, client reply, document, payment, review, signature, or other item. These categories are used locally to organize and filter your records.

7. Status Values

Status values such as Waiting, In Progress, Approved, Rejected, and Done are stored so the app can show which items still need attention and which items have been closed.

8. Priority Values

Priority values such as Low, Medium, High, and Urgent are stored to help sort and highlight pending work based on information you choose to enter.

9. Start Dates and Deadlines

Start dates and optional deadlines are stored to help calculate waiting time and overdue labels inside the app.

10. Follow-Up Logs

Follow-up log entries may include status updates and notes that you choose to add. These logs are intended to help you remember what happened and when you last followed up.

11. Notes

Notes are text entries created by you. Because pending work notes may contain business information, avoid entering passwords, access tokens, payment credentials, government identifiers, or highly confidential information that requires specialized secure storage.

12. Local Storage

The current core version stores app information locally on your device using application storage such as SharedPreferences. PENDRO does not require a remote server to provide the described core functionality.

13. No Account Required

You do not need to create a PENDRO account, username, profile, or password to use the current core functionality.

14. No Firebase

The current core version is not designed to use Firebase for authentication, analytics, cloud databases, remote configuration, or PENDRO data storage.

15. No Remote Backend

The current core version does not send your pending items, notes, people, client names, company names, deadlines, or follow-up logs to a PENDRO-operated remote backend.

16. No Cloud Synchronization

The current core version does not provide PENDRO-operated cloud synchronization between devices. Your app data generally remains associated with the local installation, subject to your device and operating-system backup settings.

17. No Advertising

The current core version does not contain PENDRO-operated advertising and is not designed to use your pending work content for personalized ads.

18. No Behavioral Analytics

The current core version is not designed to collect behavioral analytics about how you use PENDRO for advertising, profiling, or marketing purposes.

19. No Cross-App Tracking

PENDRO is not designed to track your activity across unrelated third-party apps or websites for advertising purposes.

20. No Sale of Personal Information

PENDRO does not intentionally sell or rent the locally stored pending work information described in this Policy.

21. Device Permissions

The described core features do not require location, camera, microphone, contacts, phone, SMS, calendar, or payment permissions. If a future version requests additional permissions, this Policy should be updated to explain why.

22. Location Information

The current core version does not need precise or approximate device location for the described functionality.

23. Camera and Photos

The current core version does not require camera access or photo-library access for the described functionality.

24. Microphone

The current core version does not require microphone access, voice recording, or audio capture for the described functionality.

25. Contacts

The current core version does not require access to your device contact list. Any person, client, or company name is entered manually by you.

26. Calendar Access

The current core version does not require access to your device calendar. Start dates and deadlines are entered and stored inside the app.

27. Payment Information

The current core functionality does not require you to enter payment-card details, banking credentials, or payment account information into PENDRO. If you track a pending payment item, the current app is intended only to store descriptive notes you manually enter.

28. Search

The search feature works on information stored in your local pending records, such as titles, people, clients, companies, notes, types, statuses, priorities, and logs. Search is designed for local organization inside the app.

29. Filters and Organization

PENDRO may filter records by status, type, priority, person, client, or company. These filters are based on information you entered into the app.

30. Statistics and Insights

PENDRO may calculate values such as total items, waiting items, in-progress items, closed items, urgent items, overdue items, close rate, and most-blocked party. These values are calculated locally from app records.

31. Data Retention

Locally stored records generally remain on your device until you delete records, reset app data, clear app storage, uninstall the app, or the operating system removes the data.

32. Deleting Records

You can delete pending item records using available app controls. Deleted information may not be recoverable from the app.

33. Resetting App Data

PENDRO includes a reset option intended to remove app records such as pending items, people, companies, notes, statuses, deadlines, and follow-up logs from the current local app storage.

34. Uninstalling the App

Uninstalling PENDRO may remove locally stored records. Device manufacturers and operating systems may provide backup or restore mechanisms outside PENDRO's direct control.

35. Device Backups

Your operating system or device provider may back up application data according to your device settings. Such backups are controlled by the operating system or device platform rather than by PENDRO's core app logic.

36. Data Recovery

Because the current core version does not include PENDRO-operated cloud sync, we may not be able to recover local records after deletion, app removal, device loss, storage failure, or a device reset.

37. Device Security

You are responsible for protecting access to your device. Consider using a device passcode, biometric lock, encryption, and other security features offered by your operating system.

38. Sensitive Business Information

PENDRO is a personal productivity tool. Do not treat it as a specialized secure vault for confidential company secrets, regulated business records, legal files, payroll information, financial credentials, passwords, or secret keys.

39. Professional and Official Records

PENDRO should not be used as the only official record-retention system for legal, compliance, accounting, employment, contractual, financial, or regulatory purposes.

40. Children

PENDRO is designed as a general productivity and office organization tool and is not specifically directed to young children. Users should follow applicable app-store age requirements and local laws.

41. Third-Party Platforms

App stores and device platforms, such as Google Play or your device operating system, may independently process technical, account, purchase, security, or diagnostic information under their own privacy terms. Those practices are separate from PENDRO's locally stored pending work content.

42. This Website and GitHub Pages

The PENDRO informational pages may be hosted using GitHub Pages. GitHub may process ordinary web-server information according to GitHub's own policies. These pages do not require you to submit your PENDRO pending records.

43. Support Communications

If you contact support by email, your email provider and our email provider will process the information you voluntarily include. Do not send passwords, payment credentials, access tokens, or highly sensitive work content in support emails.

44. Legal Requirements

If legally required, information voluntarily provided to us through support communications may be disclosed to comply with applicable law, legal process, or valid governmental requests. The current core app is designed without a PENDRO-operated server database of your local pending work records.

45. International Use

You may use PENDRO in different countries. Local app records remain on your device in the current core version, while app stores, email providers, and website hosts may process their own data in other jurisdictions according to their own policies.

46. Future Features

If future releases add accounts, collaboration, remote backup, cloud synchronization, analytics, crash reporting, advertising, attachments, payments, notifications requiring new processing, or additional permissions, this Policy should be revised to accurately describe those practices.

47. Your Choices

You decide what information to enter into PENDRO. You can avoid optional fields, delete individual records using available app controls, reset all app data, or stop using the app.

48. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when PENDRO changes or when legal, technical, or app-store requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current published version.
