Pantryly - Home Pantry Inventory

Last Updated: June , 2026

1. Introduction

Pantryly is a simple home pantry inventory app designed to help users organize household food and kitchen items. The app allows users to add pantry items, categories, quantities, units, favorite items, and low-stock settings.

This Privacy Policy explains how Pantryly handles information. Pantryly is designed as a local-only app. It does not require an account, does not use a backend server, and does not send your pantry inventory to external services.

2. Information Stored in the App

Pantryly stores only the information you choose to enter inside the app. This may include item names, item categories, quantities, measurement units, low-stock alert levels, favorite status, and app settings such as dark mode.

This information is used only to provide the app’s core functionality, such as displaying your pantry list, showing low-stock items, filtering by category, and saving your preferences.

3. Local Device Storage

All Pantryly data is stored locally on your device using local device storage. The app does not upload, sync, or transfer your pantry data to any Pantryly server.

If you change devices, uninstall the app, clear app data, or reset your device, locally stored Pantryly data may be removed unless your operating system or device backup system saves it separately.

4. No Account Required

Pantryly does not require users to create an account. The app does not ask for a username, password, email address, phone number, profile photo, or login credentials.

Because there is no account system, Pantryly cannot restore deleted data from a server and cannot identify users across devices.

5. No Personal Data Collection

Pantryly does not intentionally collect personal data such as your name, address, location, contacts, photos, camera data, microphone data, payment information, or personal identifiers.

You may choose to type personal words into item names or notes if the app version includes note fields, but that information remains stored locally on your own device.

6. No Analytics, Ads, or Tracking

Pantryly does not include analytics SDKs, advertising networks, behavioral tracking tools, ad identifiers, or third-party marketing services.

The app does not track which screens you open, which buttons you press, how often you use the app, or how you interact with pantry items.

7. No Third-Party Sharing

Pantryly does not sell, rent, trade, disclose, or share your pantry information with third parties. Since the app does not use a backend server, your pantry inventory is not transmitted to Pantryly-controlled online systems.

Platform providers such as Google Play may process app download, crash, or device-level information according to their own policies. That platform-level information is not controlled by Pantryly inside the app.

8. Permissions

Pantryly is designed to work without sensitive permissions. The app does not need access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location, calendar, SMS, phone calls, or external files for its core functionality.

If a future version adds optional functionality that requires permissions, this Privacy Policy should be updated to explain that change clearly.

9. Data Security

Pantryly reduces privacy risk by keeping data on your device and avoiding unnecessary network services. Your pantry data is protected by your device security settings, such as screen lock, operating system protections, and device encryption where available.

You are responsible for keeping your device secure. Anyone with access to your unlocked device may be able to view or edit your pantry information.

10. User Control and Data Deletion

You can add, edit, favorite, and delete pantry items directly inside the app. When you delete an item, Pantryly removes it from local storage after confirmation.

You can also remove all locally stored Pantryly data by clearing the app’s data from your device settings or uninstalling the app.

11. Children’s Privacy

Pantryly is a general household organization app and is not specifically directed to children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Because Pantryly does not use accounts, analytics, ads, or backend services, it does not knowingly transmit children’s information to Pantryly-controlled services.

12. Food Safety Disclaimer

Pantryly helps users organize pantry items, but it does not provide food safety, expiration, medical, health, nutrition, or professional advice.

Users are responsible for checking food labels, expiration dates, storage conditions, allergies, and official safety guidance before consuming or using any pantry item.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in the app, legal requirements, or store policies. Any updated version should describe Pantryly’s data practices accurately.

Continued use of the app after updates means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.

14. Contact Information

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or Pantryly’s local-only data practices, please use the developer contact information listed on the app store page or official project website.
