GoalSprint

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how GoalSprint handles information when you use the app. GoalSprint is built as a local-first productivity app.

Effective date: 2026

Privacy summary GoalSprint stores tasks, habits, priorities, completion status, and app settings locally on your device. GoalSprint has no account login, no backend server, no third-party data sharing, no ads currently, and no sensitive permissions.

1. Introduction

GoalSprint helps users plan tasks, manage habits, and review daily progress. We designed the app to be simple and privacy-conscious by keeping user-entered productivity data on the user's device instead of sending it to a remote server.

2. Information We Collect

GoalSprint does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, payment details, or account credentials. The app only stores information you enter or create inside the app, including:

3. Local Storage Only

GoalSprint stores app data locally on your device using device storage. This data remains on your device and is not sent to GoalSprint servers. Device-level backups or transfers may be controlled by your operating system or device settings, not by GoalSprint.

4. Tasks and Habits Data

Tasks and habits are used only to display and manage your productivity lists within GoalSprint. You control what you enter. We recommend that you do not enter sensitive personal, medical, financial, legal, or confidential information into task or habit titles.

5. No Account or Login

GoalSprint does not require registration, authentication, user profiles, passwords, or login. Because there is no account system, GoalSprint does not collect or store account credentials.

6. No Backend or Server

GoalSprint does not currently use a backend server for user data. The app does not upload your tasks, habits, settings, or usage content to a server operated by GoalSprint.

7. No Third-Party Sharing

GoalSprint does not sell, rent, trade, transfer, or share your task, habit, or settings data with third parties. Since the app stores data locally, GoalSprint does not have access to the content you enter.

8. No Ads Currently

GoalSprint does not currently display advertisements and does not currently use advertising SDKs. We do not share user data with ad networks.

9. No Sensitive Permissions

GoalSprint does not request sensitive device permissions such as location, camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, SMS, call logs, or health data permissions. If future features require permissions, they will be requested only when needed and explained in context.

10. Children's Privacy

GoalSprint is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children. The app has no account system and no backend collection. If a parent or guardian believes a child has entered personal information into local task or habit data, that data can be deleted from the app or removed by clearing app data on the device.

11. Data Deletion

You can delete individual tasks and habits inside GoalSprint. You can also delete locally stored data by clearing GoalSprint app data in your device settings or uninstalling the app. Because GoalSprint does not maintain a backend account, there is no remote server data to request or delete.

12. Security

GoalSprint keeps data locally and relies on your device's built-in security protections. You are responsible for protecting your device with available safeguards such as screen lock, passcode, biometric unlock, operating system updates, and device encryption where available.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to GoalSprint, legal requirements, or privacy practices. Updated versions may be published on this page or made available through the app listing.
