Privacy Policy
Summary: FIXORA is designed as an offline-first app. The current core version requires no account and stores its primary home issue, repair attempt, cost, solution, and preference records locally. It does not currently include advertising, behavioral analytics, cross-app tracking, Firebase, or a FIXORA cloud backend.
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how FIXORA — Home Problem Solver (“FIXORA”, “the app”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) handles information when you use the application. FIXORA is designed as an offline-first personal home problem and solution organizer.
2. Information You Enter
You may voluntarily enter home issue titles, descriptions, rooms or areas, categories, priorities, repair attempts, notes, costs, parts used, final solutions, and technician names or phone numbers. This information is used to provide the organizational features you request.
3. Local Storage
The current core version stores FIXORA records locally on your device using Flutter local storage, including SharedPreferences. FIXORA does not require a remote database for its core functionality.
4. No Account Required
The current version does not require registration, login, username, password, or a FIXORA cloud account.
5. Home Issue Records
Issue records can include the problem title, room, category, description, priority, status, creation date, update date, attempts, costs, parts, technician details, and final solution that you choose to record.
6. Repair Attempts
FIXORA can store the repair attempts you create, including what you tried, optional notes, date, cost, and whether the attempt worked, failed, or provided a temporary fix.
7. Cost Information
Costs entered into FIXORA are personal organizational records. The app can calculate totals from those values. FIXORA does not process payments or access a bank account for this feature.
8. Technician Information
If you choose to enter a technician’s name or phone number, that information is stored as part of your local record. You are responsible for ensuring that you have an appropriate reason to store another person’s contact details.
9. Final Solutions
When an issue is solved, FIXORA can store the final solution and parts used so that you can find the solution again later.
10. Solution Library
Solved issues may appear in the Solution Library. Search and organization of those records occur using information stored by the app for your local FIXORA data.
11. Home Insights
FIXORA may calculate statistics such as open issues, solved issues, urgent issues, total recorded costs, Home Health, and recurring room/category combinations. These are organizational indicators derived from your local records.
12. Home Health Score
The Home Health score is a simple app-generated organizational indicator based on recorded issues. It is not a professional property inspection, safety assessment, engineering opinion, or guarantee about the condition of a home.
13. Recurring Problems
FIXORA may identify repeated room and category combinations to help you notice recurring problems. This feature does not use artificial intelligence or remote profiling in the current core version.
14. Preferences
Preferences such as dark mode and currency display may be saved locally so FIXORA can remember your settings.
15. No Advertising
The current core version does not include advertising SDKs or use your FIXORA records for personalized advertising.
16. No Behavioral Analytics
The current core version does not intentionally include a behavioral analytics service for profiling your use of FIXORA.
17. No Cross-App Tracking
FIXORA does not use the current core version to track you across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising purposes.
18. No Sale of Personal Information
We do not sell or rent the home issue information that you enter into the current core version of FIXORA.
19. No Firebase or Remote Backend
The current core version does not require Firebase or a FIXORA-operated remote backend to save its home issue records.
20. No Cloud Sync
The current core version does not provide FIXORA cloud synchronization. Records are not automatically synchronized by a FIXORA account between your devices.
21. Internet Connection
Core FIXORA functionality is designed to work offline. Public legal/support pages hosted on the web require an internet connection when you visit them.
22. Photos and Camera
The current SharedPreferences-only core build does not include persistent photo attachments and does not require camera or photo-library access for the described features.
23. Microphone
The current core version does not require microphone access.
24. Location
The current core version does not require precise or approximate device location for its home issue organization features.
25. Contacts
The current core version does not require access to your device contacts.
26. Financial Information
Although you may manually record repair costs, FIXORA does not need your bank account number, payment-card number, or banking credentials for its core functionality.
27. Sensitive Repair Situations
Notes you enter could reveal information about your home. Because these records are stored on your device in the current core version, you should protect access to your device using available security features.
28. Data Retention
Local records remain available until you delete individual records, reset FIXORA data, clear the app’s data, or uninstall the app, subject to operating-system backup and restore behavior.
29. Deleting Records
FIXORA provides controls for deleting issue records and resetting local data. Deleting an issue also removes the related attempts and solution from the app’s active local records.
30. Device Backups
Depending on your operating-system and backup settings, local application data may be included in device or cloud backups controlled by your platform provider. Those services operate under their own privacy policies.
31. Security
We design the current core version to minimize remote data handling by keeping its primary records local. No method of electronic storage can be guaranteed absolutely secure, so users should maintain appropriate device security.
32. Children’s Privacy
FIXORA is a general-purpose household organization utility and is not designed to solicit personal information from children. Users who are not legally able to agree to applicable terms should use the app with appropriate parent or guardian involvement.
33. Third-Party Platforms
App stores, operating-system providers, GitHub Pages, email providers, and other third-party services may independently process information under their own privacy policies. Their processing is separate from FIXORA’s local record storage.
34. Support Communications
If you voluntarily contact us at cronprivate932@gmail.com, we may receive your email address, message contents, and any information or attachments you choose to send. We use that information to respond to your support or privacy request.
35. Legal Requirements
Information voluntarily provided to us through support communications may be retained or disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, lawful requests, protect rights and safety, or resolve disputes.
36. International Processing
Third-party services used for email, app distribution, or website hosting may process information in different countries according to their own infrastructure and privacy practices.
37. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when FIXORA changes or when legal or platform requirements change. Material changes should be reflected by updating the published policy and effective date.
38. Future Features
If a future FIXORA version adds accounts, cloud sync, analytics, advertising, crash-reporting SDKs, photo uploads, online backups, payments, or new device permissions, this policy and applicable app-store disclosures should be reviewed and updated before or when those features are released.
