Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 27, 2026. This policy reflects Domira's current offline-first core implementation.
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Domira handles information when you use the Domira mobile application.
2. Offline-First Design
The current core version of Domira is designed as an offline-first application. Home inventory information is stored locally on your device.
3. Information Stored in the App
Domira may locally store item names, rooms, categories, purchase prices, purchase dates, warranty end dates, store names, serial numbers, receipt or invoice references, notes, favorite status, and archive status.
4. How Your Information Is Used
Locally stored information is used to organize your home inventory, display items by room, support search and favorites, calculate tracked inventory value, show warranty status, identify warranties expiring soon, and maintain archived items.
5. Accounts and Sign-In
The current core Domira experience does not require an account, username, password, phone number, or email address.
6. Rooms and Categories
Room and category information is used locally to organize and filter the belongings you add to Domira.
7. Purchase Information
Purchase prices, dates, store names, and receipt or invoice references are optional information entered by you and used to help organize your inventory.
8. Serial Numbers
Serial numbers or other identifying references you enter are stored locally as part of the relevant inventory item.
9. Warranty Information
Warranty dates are used locally to show whether coverage is active or expired and to identify warranties approaching their end date.
10. Search
Search operates on locally stored information such as item names, room names, categories, serial numbers, and store names.
11. Favorites and Archive
Favorite and archive status are stored locally so Domira can organize important or inactive inventory items.
12. Notes
Notes you enter about household belongings are stored locally as part of the relevant item.
13. Inventory Value
Domira may calculate a total tracked value from purchase prices entered by you. This is an organizational estimate based only on your entries and is not a professional valuation.
14. Camera and Photo Library
The current core implementation described by this policy does not require camera or photo-library access.
15. Microphone
The current core implementation does not require microphone access.
16. Contacts
The current core implementation does not require access to your contacts.
17. Location
The current core implementation does not require precise or approximate location access.
18. Advertising, Analytics and Tracking
The current core implementation does not require third-party advertising, behavioral tracking, or analytics SDKs. This policy must be reviewed before introducing such services.
19. Data Sharing and Sale
Domira does not sell or rent the locally stored inventory information used by the current core application. The current core implementation does not intentionally transmit your home inventory to unrelated third parties.
20. Third-Party and Online Services
Future versions may add cloud backup or sync, authentication, analytics, crash reporting, advertising, image storage, AI features, or other online services. This policy should be updated before any such functionality is published.
21. Data Retention
Locally stored information generally remains on the device until you delete an item, delete all local data through supported controls, clear application storage, reset the device, or uninstall Domira.
22. Data Deletion
Domira includes controls for deleting individual inventory items and deleting all locally stored application data. Device-level storage clearing or uninstalling the app may also remove local information.
23. Device Backups
Your operating system or device backup service may independently back up or restore application data. Such backup services are controlled by their respective providers and your device settings.
24. Security
Reasonable application-design practices are used for locally stored information, but no device, application, or storage method can guarantee absolute security.
25. Children's Privacy
Domira is a general home-inventory utility. The current core experience does not knowingly require children to create an online account or provide personal contact information.
26. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Domira changes, new functionality is introduced, or applicable requirements change. The latest version should be published on this page.
