Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 1, 2026. This Privacy Policy describes how the current Servio mobile application handles information.
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Servio handles information when you use the Servio mobile application.
2. Offline-First Design
Servio's current core functionality is designed to work offline. Maintenance records and equipment information are stored locally on your device using application storage.
3. Information You May Store
Servio may locally store equipment or asset names, equipment types, model or description information, location labels, notes, favorite and archive status, maintenance titles and types, service dates, next-service dates, maintenance costs, service-provider names, and maintenance notes.
4. How Information Is Used
Information you enter is used to create service books, display maintenance history, organize equipment, calculate maintenance status, identify overdue or upcoming service, show recorded maintenance spending, and support favorites and archives.
5. Accounts and Sign-In
The current core version of Servio does not require account registration, sign-in credentials, a phone number, or an email address.
6. Equipment and Service Books
Equipment information is used locally to create and manage individual service books for vehicles, appliances, electronics, home equipment, tools, and other items you choose to track.
7. Maintenance History
Maintenance entries are stored locally so Servio can display a chronological service history for each item.
8. Service Dates and Reminders
Servio uses service dates and next-service dates entered by you to calculate whether maintenance is on track, due soon, or overdue. The current core implementation does not require a remote notification server.
9. Maintenance Costs
Costs entered by you may be totaled locally to provide a recorded maintenance-spending summary. These amounts are based solely on your entries and are not financial or accounting records verified by Servio.
10. Service Providers
Provider or workshop names entered by you are stored as part of your local maintenance records.
11. Notes
Notes associated with equipment or maintenance records are stored locally and used only to display the information you entered.
12. Favorites and Archives
Favorite and archive states are stored locally to help you organize active, important, or inactive service books.
13. Camera and Photos
The current Servio core implementation does not require access to your camera or photo library.
14. Microphone
The current Servio core implementation does not require microphone access.
15. Contacts
The current Servio core implementation does not require access to your contacts.
16. Location
The current Servio core implementation does not require precise or approximate device location. A location label entered manually for equipment is simply text stored locally.
17. Advertising, Analytics, and Tracking
The current core implementation does not require advertising SDKs, behavioral tracking, or analytics SDKs. If such services are introduced in a future release, this policy and applicable store disclosures should be updated before publication.
18. Data Sharing and Sale
Servio does not sell or rent the locally stored maintenance information used by the current core application. The current core implementation does not intentionally transmit your service-book data to unrelated third parties.
19. Third-Party and Online Services
Future versions may introduce cloud backup, synchronization, authentication, analytics, crash reporting, advertising, online reminders, AI features, or other network services. Any relevant privacy disclosures should be updated before those features are released.
20. Data Retention
Local information generally remains on your device until you delete records, delete all local Servio data using supported controls, clear the application's storage, reset the device, or uninstall the application.
21. Data Deletion
Servio provides controls for deleting equipment, maintenance records, and all locally stored application data. Deleting an equipment service book may also remove maintenance records associated with it.
22. Device Backups
Your device operating system or backup provider may independently back up application data depending on your device and backup settings. Those services are controlled by their respective providers.
23. Security
Servio is designed to keep its current core data local, but no application, device, or storage system can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate security on your device.
24. Children's Privacy
Servio is a general maintenance utility and its current core experience does not knowingly require children to create an online account or submit personal contact information.
25. International Users
Because the current core application stores its primary maintenance data locally, Servio does not intentionally transfer that core data to a Servio-operated remote server. Device backup services may operate separately under their own policies.
26. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when Servio changes, new functionality is introduced, or applicable requirements change. The latest version should be made available on this page.
27. Contact
